I love the simple pleasures of life and the joy they bring is what I love to photograph.
I have been photographing clients and their love for over eight years. It is always such a pleasure to meet new friends and an honor to get to create images for them.
I followed my lifelong love of creating photographs to college and graduated with a bachelors of science degree in photography from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I began noticing my style develop. In the years to follow I worked as a photographer's assistant at an advertising studio, an assistant manager at a portrait studio, and tried a few other endeavors until I decided that this is what I should be doing. I have been blessed to be married to my goofy, hardworking husband for the past seven years and have two amazing children. It makes my heart full to get to watch them grow as much as I get to while working from home, and for that I am so extra grateful to all who have supported my business. Thank you sincerely.
Love & best wishes,
What is a lifestyle portrait session?
A lifestyle portrait session is looser and more casual than a traditional portrait session. I want to capture your family frolicking through a field, the smile on your face when your fiancé whispers in your ear, and the joy you feel when your child is in your arms. These portrait sessions usually take place in more natural settings like outdoors, in natural light studios, or in your home.
How long does a session last?
Usually 1-1.5 hours depending on the session details
How many weddings have you photographed?
What happens if your gear breaks during our wedding day?
We have back up equipment ready to go!
How long until we receive our images?
Within 4-6 weeks
Do you travel?
Yes! We love to travel and are so grateful to get to travel to new places to photograph amazing clients. This year we get to travel to West Coast!
What if I book you for our wedding day and there is an emergency and you can’t come?
I supply another professional photographer for your wedding day should an emergency happen on my end. I take my dedication to each wedding very seriously and have never had to do this, but we are very blessed to have such a great community of professional photographers in the area to reach out to for these situations.
What are some of your favorite things?
My loved ones, my babes’ hands in mine, my husband’s goofiness, yoga, baking, being outside, fresh fruit, cotton dresses, open fields.
